Information For Authors

Thank you for considering the International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Research (IJECER) for your manuscript. Please read the following guidelines carefully before preparing and submitting your manuscript.

1. Submission Process

  1. Prepare your manuscript according to the journal template.
  2. Create an account or log in to the online submission system.
  3. Upload the manuscript file, title page (with author details), and any supplementary files.
  4. Complete all submission forms, including conflicts of interest and funding disclosures.
  5. Submit your manuscript. You will receive a confirmation email.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts using the official IJECER template. Manuscripts must include:

  • Title, Abstract, Keywords
  • Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion
  • Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References

The manuscript must be written in English, formatted according to the journal template, and anonymized for double-blind peer review.

3. Peer Review

IJECER applies a double-blind peer review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Manuscripts are reviewed by at least three independent reviewers before an editorial decision.

4. Licensing and Copyright

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) . Authors retain copyright and grant IJECER a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm consent to publish under CC BY 4.0.

5. Ethical Requirements

Authors must ensure that research involving humans, animals or sensitive data has received appropriate ethics approval and that informed consent has been obtained where applicable.

Manuscripts must be original, not published previously, and not under consideration elsewhere.

All submissions are screened for plagiarism and related ethical issues in accordance with COPE guidelines.

6. Similarity Policy

The total similarity index should be less than 20%, and similarity from any single source must be less than 3%. Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds may be returned or rejected.

7. Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement indicating the status of the data supporting their findings.

8. Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors must disclose any potential financial or non-financial conflict of interest. If no conflict exists, include a statement such as:

"The authors declare no conflict of interest."

9. Article Processing Charges (APC)

IJECER currently does not charge any submission fees or article processing charges (APCs).
